Hi everyone! With the 2017 wedding season fast approaching, we wanted to give you an inside look at a wedding that was the perfect close to our busy 2016 season. Meet Mary & Rob! This amazing couple lives in San Diego, but our bride was born and raised in Charlotte so there was never a question where their destination wedding would take place - right here in the heart of the Queen City! This wedding was even more special for us since the bride and her family grew up right down the street from their Head Over Heels lead planner, Lauren!

The bridal party got ready at the Dunhill Hotel, a sophisticated, boutique hotel right across the street from the venue. The bride wore a custom-made, long sleeve, lace wedding gown with a high slit by Pixton Design Group. She looks absolutely STUNNING! Peeking out of the gown's slit was a pair of gorgeous strappy, crystal-encrusted, Badgley Mischka heels.

The wedding took place this past November at one of our favorite venues, Foundation for the Carolinas. It was the perfect setting for this stylish and ultra modern couple.

We loved every single detail of this wedding, from their super intimate wedding party, consisting of family only, to the couple's mutual best friend becoming ordained just so he could officiate their ceremony. But one of our all-time favorite moments was during the reception when the bride's two sisters surprised our couple with a video of all their loved ones sending them special wedding wishes. Seriously, there was not a dry eye in the house!

Mary and Rob, you are so adorably in love and we wish you all the best in your future together out there in sunny California.
